  -- suppose a married gay couple, or even one of the partners, starts studying the bible with jws and decides he wants to baptized?

  Nitty-Gritty, if I'm not mistaken Candace Conti's attorney produced a letter of recommendation written by the elders of her congregation to another congregation actually commending the molester as having a special way with children.

  In other cases the pedophile in a congregation was allowed to go out in field service. In yet another case the victims were threatened with disfellowshipping for speaking out on the matter. You can find the interview on that on the YouTube video I posted on page 2 of this thread.

  I believe that they just reformed the teaching saying that 1844 was the beginning of Jesus cleansing the "temple" whatever that means to them. That is no different than the Watchtower reforming its 1914 doctrine 3 times already.

  I can only suggest answers to these two questions from what would be a Christian point of view (I'm not Christian by the way).

  "Who else has the truth?"

  According to the Bible Jesus is "the way, the truth and the life." This answer might mark you as an apostate but they may not know how to respond.

  "Where else can we go?"

  Christianity is not about where you go to but whom you go to.

  My reply: Answer me one question, then I'll answer yours: "Do you believe everything which the faithful slave says?"

  If they say 'Yes', then they will know how stupid and gullible they will be portraying themselves!

  Don't assume that. I'm sure they would gladly answer yes without thinking themselves gullible or stupid.

  The thing I don't understand about the "overlapping generation" teaching is why there can't be more than just two "generations". Why not "overlap" indefinitely? Just say that it's all of the anointed that will not pass away before the "Great Tribulation"..

  i knew the watchtower didn't like me, but i didn't know they wanted to physically kill me (if they were allowed)from the 15 november 1952 watchtower magazine under questions from readers:.

  in the case of where a father or mother or son or daughter is disfellowshiped, how should such person be treated by members of the family in their family relationship?.

  we are not living today among theocratic nations where such members of our fleshly family relationship could be exterminated for apostasy from god and his theocratic organization, as was possible and was ordered in the nation of israel in the wilderness of sinai and in the land of palestine... (and a bit later)..being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of god through jesus christ, we can take action against apostates only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws.. so let me get this straight: if our secular pesky laws were not an obstacle and jesus was not in the way we'd be hunted and exterminated?.
